From Vassbakken, Breheimen national park can be reached via the Mørkridsdalen, Fortunsdalen or Jostedalen valleys. The national park offers glacier hikes, summit trips and farm visits in the valleys between the mountains. Breheimen is home to a number of self-service DNT cabins and a perfect destination for short or long trips in varied terrain and scenery.
