Vassbakken Kro & Camping is located midway between the villages of Skjolden and Fortun. Skjolden sits at the end of the Lustrafjord – a branch of the Sognefjord. Fortun is the gateway to the Sognefjellet massif and Jotunheimen national park. Here, halfway between fjord and mountain, we offer 13 cabins of varying standards and sizes, all of them with kitchen facilities. We also have a traditional Norwegian restaurant with a cosy outdoor terrace, TV lounge and salon.

We offer cabins of varying standards and sizes, with or without bathrooms. All cabins are equipped with a hotplate, fridge, coffee machine and kettle, saucepans and tableware. They have their own outdoor area, wooden furniture and a corner sofa. The amenities block contains coin-operated showers, toilets and washing facilities, washing machine, tumble dryer and a kitchen with oven/hob. There is also a basic play area on site. Free wi-fi is available in the restaurant and reception area. The cabins do not have TVs. 

The cabins are equipped with duvets and pillows. You can bring your own bed linen or rent it from the reception.
